Puppet Animation Scotland

Puppet Animation Scotland nurtures and promotes the arts forms of puppetry and animation in Scotland.

These art forms can be harnessed to foster creativity, innovation and engagement in a wide range of educational scenarios.

Our projects across Scotland have involved developing emotional literacy through structured play with children in the care system, delivering craft based CPD to teachers and working hand in hand with them to develop projects that complement their current classroom themes. We have also created projects giving primary school pupils hands on experience of steering and shaping a professional piece of puppet theatre which went on to tour Scotland as part of our Puppet Animation Festival.
